I am thrilled to be part of the Talent Development/Advanced Studies/AVID team as Compliance Specialist! I have a passion for all things teaching, learning, and technology. This is my eleventh year in Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools and I have served in a variety of different roles. I began my career teaching at Pawtuckett Elementary and have also worked as an Academic Facilitator and Talent Development (TD) Teacher. I aim to provide schools and teachers with high quality support in order to strengthen our Talent Development programs and provide gifted and high-ability learners with appropriately challenging, interactive learning experiences. In addition to my work with Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools, I am also heavily involved with the North Carolina Association of Elementary Educators and currently serve as their President Elect. I am also a co-organizer for EdCamp Queen City, or EdCampQC, and love connecting with other passionate educators.
